Job Overview:

Want to make a great living and get your weekends off, too? Then this is the dedicated fleet for you. Haul mostly out and back freight between Indiana and Iowa for a single customer. This fleet is growing and popular with experienced drivers.

You’ll be spending your downtime at home on the weekends (34-48 hours between Friday and Monday).

You'll drive five and a half days at a time during the week.

What You'll Drive (Your Equipment)

  • New trucks (both manuals and automatics are available)
  • New van trailers

What You'll Haul

  • Our customer is the largest producer of metal food packaging in the United States. This fleet will haul raw material and finished product to customer locations within their network.

Where You'll Drive

  • Most will be out and back trips between Northwest Indiana and Iowa.
  • Pre-planned, regular routes
  • Primary lanes through Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota & Wisconsin.

What our drivers say about this specific truck driving job:

Robert B. (one of the first drivers on the fleet):
"I like that I work Monday through Friday. . I know that some of those that we’ve hired that live close to Gary (Indiana) or Burlington (Iowa) they may get home almost every night. We can go anywhere that (the customer) operates. I’ve been to TX on this fleet too. The lane does not just run between Gary and IA. I’d guess that it’s maybe around 50% of the time that I run between Gary and Burlington."

Richard S. (professional driver with years of driving experience):
"I like this fleet because it keeps me in the Midwest. Home time is good and I’m usually home on weekends. I can get home during the week, too. I launch out on Sunday nights. I want to get the customer Sunday night so I have a full clock on Monday – this is my choice. I do this so I can get more miles."

James Y. (experienced professional truck driver):
"I like that I’m not just bumping the dock. I like that it’s hands on. I like that I’m home every weekend. It is predictable freight and you get to know all the customers. You get to know them and build a good relationship with them."
